Project: Sonotube concrete footing (foundation)

This time we got a request to complete a sonotube concrete footing, as the owner decided to add a home extension. It was crucial to build a solid foundation before starting the work on the addition. So our main task was to pour concrete posts to be further used for the extension. First, we did excavation, as the sonotube concrete footing had to be deeper than the ground level. Then we poured concrete using the proper concrete mix to decrease the risk of delamination. After the concrete had hardened, we backfilled holes around the sonotubes. When the project was complete, the owner used the foundation to add the extension.
